The second production of Intimate Memories was directed by the choregrapher and performed to Xenakis's Échanges. The movement emphasised strong, staccato movement, a direct contrast to the fluid movement qualities of the first production. The emotional tenor of the second production was characterised by extremes of tension in the relationships between the performers. The latter (one male and two female performers) were costumed in black shirts and trousers. The lighting was steel grey.
